The South Main Street
Business Center Condominiums lie within the town of Stowe’s
historic overlay district. The project revitalizes a 3,500
sf delapidated historic structure (Building #1) and provides
an additional 2,700 sf of new office space (Building #2). The
design takes careful consideration of the properties venacular
character while also meeting the needs of the contemporary
user through convenient and efficient office space layouts.
Harry Hunt Architects worked in collaboration with the developer
Mansfield Ventures, Ltd. providing full design and construction
documentation services for building #2 and also developed
the necessary drawings for approval of renovations to building
#1.
