Harry Hunt Architects works closely with clients on residential, arts & education, commercial, and community design projects, creating buildings that are uniquely suited to the needs of their users, to the particular circumstances of Vermont, and to the global need for environmental stewardship.

A native Vermonter, Harry earned his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Vermont in 1986 and his Master‘s of Architecture from the University of Colorado in 1994. He has lived, worked, and traveled extensively throughout Western Europe and the American west. His practical experience includes hands-on construction experience with George Schaeffer Construction of Vail, Colorado. He also worked for two of Colorado’s most-respected design firms: Barrett Studio Architects (AIA Colorado Firm of the Year 1998) in Boulder and Harry Teague Architects (AIA Western Region Firm of the Year 1994) in Aspen.

In 2005, he founded Harry Hunt Architects, a Stowe-based architecture and planning firm dedicated to sustainable design rooted in Vermont’s cultural heritage. He is a registered architect in both Vermont and Colorado and is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

After receiving a B.S. in psychology from the University of Vermont, Stephanie has a decade of experience working in marketing and communications for Vermont’s ski and advertising industries. During this time she worked for several Burlington companies, including Skis Dynastar, Shark Communications, and Jager DiPaolo Kemp.

She then focused her career on a life-long interest in conservation issues, working for The National Wildlife Federation in Montpelier; as a Marketing Director at Leave No Trace, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado; and most recently as a Development Associate at The Rocky Mountain Institute, a resource efficiency think tank and consulting group in Snowmass, Colorado.
